Wame Alvin Tafa obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of Botswana in 2016. He was also admitted as an Attorney of the Courts of Botswana in the same year and began his career as a Pupil Attorney at a Maun based law firm, where he was later confirmed as an Associate Attorney. He is admitted as a Conveyancer and Notary Public.
He then joined the Gobhoza Legal Practice team in January 2019 as an Associate Attorney in the Litigation Department. Tafa’s key areas of practice include corporate law and general civil litigation, particularly in the fields of financial debt recovery, insurance law and contract law. Outside of his core field, Tafa also has experience in family law and is admitted as a Conveyancer and Notary Public.
Tafa’s experience in providing opinions, regulatory advice and compliance advice on employment law, labour law and contract law combined with his high level of work ethic proves invaluable to clients who require representation in Court.
Outside his professional life, Tafa is an avid reader and enjoys watching football as well as Formula 1.
